Mark McKenna stepped into a wine cellar for the very first time at the age of 21. Still attending the University of California Berkeley, he wasn't quite sure what it was he was going to do with the rest of his life. The feel of a wine cellar and the rhythm of the work made the choice frighteningly easy. Gifted from the very beginning with fantastic mentors, he made wine, badgered winemakers he respected, drank a lot of great wine, started a winery of his own, and most importantly found community with fellow winemakers and grape growers. He is passionate about craft, art, wine, and how these things interact.
We at Andis belive in wines of grace and place. We love the craft and the discussion that good wine brings, whether it's about the wine or not. We are incredibly proud of the wines we make and always love to hear what you think.
