Planted in the 1960s, Di Stasio Vineyard is an old vine Zinfandel vineyard that Andis Wines is proud to be working with. What makes this vineyard a true icon of the California Shenandoah Valley AVA are its unique soils ranging from decomposed granite to sandy loam, its dry farming and head-trained method, which leads to low yields. This wine is complex and deep like an old-vine wine should be, with a juicy full body, firm tannins, and velvety finish.

Winemaker Notes
2021 Di Stasio Zinfandel is our fourth vintage from this vineyard. In the nose the wine has an extracted tea leaf flavor, spicy and strawberry jam on the palate. This vintage ranges from a cooler climate style in the nose to warmer climate style wines in the finish.
Food Pairing Notes
Zinfandel pairs well with Moroccan and Turkish spices that embellish the wine’s cinnamon-spice subtleties. Or, try this Puglian classic, Pizza Rustica – a wafer-thin calzone stuffed with roasted onions, tomatoes, anchovies, and olives. - Wine Folly
