Original Granpère Vineyard, also known as Vineyard 1869, is the oldest documented Zinfandel vineyard in America. In 2024, we celebrate over 154 years of Zinfandel from this acclaimed vineyard.

Still producing today, only four wineries are privileged enough to receive fruit from this vineyard. Three of them are here in Amador County - Andis Wines, Scott Harvey Wines, and Vino Noceto.

Vineyard Tour– Saturday, January 13th at 10am - you’ll have the chance to walk amongst the ancient vines themselves – with winemakers Rusty Folena of Vino Noceto and with past proprietor & winemaker, Scott Harvey.  Reservations are required, as space is limited to 30 people.

Unique Tastings – 11am - 4pm Saturday, January 13th, each winery will be offering current and library vintage tastings of their OGP/Vineyard 1869 Zinfandel, paired with small bites. The passport ticket will grant you access to all three locations.

Specials on Original Grandpere/1869 wine packs at each winery.

April 2024
Andis Art Experience - Jennifer Peart
12:00 PM to 2:00 PM     Sun, Apr 7, 2024
Venue: Andis Wines
Contact: 2092456177,

Jennifer Peart is a contemporary landscape painter based in Sacramento, California. She grew up in the nearby Sierra Nevada foothills where she developed a deep relationship with landscape and place. Peart studied drawing and painting through Sacramento community colleges before transferring to Mills College, Oakland where she received her degree in Studio Art. Upon graduation, she went into Education and taught for over ten years in California public schools. On a summer hike in Yosemite, she decided to pivot away from the classroom and pursue her art full-time. Instead of teaching students to envision a better future, Peart now freely creates her own alternative realities and parallel worlds.

"I look specifically to mid-century American architecture and works of science (visionary) fiction to feed my own optimism for the future of life on Earth. Through painting, I explore the faded idealism found in improbable utopian visions and our failed attempts to control Nature.

My new nowheres re-contextualize motifs found in typical renderings of ideal architectural models and Shangri-La landscapes to give that abandoned desire a new launchpad. My aim is to emphasize the correlation between architectural and psychological space by taking new liberties in my approach to the medium."

We look forward to sharing this special afternoon with you as we celebrate the intersection of art and wine at Andis Wines.

Complimentary Wine Tasting, Nibbles & Bites.

Jennifer's art will be for sale and on display until July 1, 2024.
