UPDATE ON ANDIS' WEEKEND FOOD OFFERINGS
Bon Voyage to Chef Shannon!
We are very sad to see Chef Shannon leave Andis Wines but wish her the very best success in her new endeavor in San Francisco. With her departure, we are suspending our weekend food menu until we find another chef. To accommodate our hungry oenophiles, we'll continue to have a selection of cheese, charcuterie, crackers and other snacks available in the tasting room deli case. You're also always welcome to bring a picnic to enjoy the vineyard views under our red umbrellas while sipping on Andis wines, and we'll continue to schedule food trucks when available.
Thank you for your understanding!
12/2/18 Sunday - Cousins Maine Lobster, fresh lobster tacos, sandwiches and more
Andis Wines, Scott Harvey Wines, and Vino Noceto will host a weekend of events to celebrate the continuing vivacity of the Original Grandpère Vineyard (OGP), also known as Vineyard 1869. Over the course of four days, guests to Amador County will have a chance to taste, sip, and explore the Zinfandel vineyard heralded as the oldest documented Zinfandel Vineyard in America. In 2019, we celebrate 150 years of Zinfandel from this acclaimed vineyard.
Only four wineries are privileged enough to receive fruit from this vineyard, with three of them located here in Amador County - Andis Wines, Scott Harvey Wines, and Vino Noceto.
FEAST - The weekend kicks off Friday, January 11th at the award-winning Taste Restaurant, where a special Prix-Fix menu will highlight pairings with the OGP/Vineyard 1869 Zinfandel offerings from Andis Wines, Scott Harvey Wines, and Vino Noceto. This dinner will be offered Friday-Sunday, January 11-13. (Dinner Separate from ticket price below). To make reservations, please contact Taste Restaurant directly at (209) 245-3463.
TOUR – Saturday & Sunday, January 12 & 13th, 10AM
You’ll have the chance to walk amongst the ancient vines themselves on Saturday with winemaker Rusty Folena of Vino Noceto and Sunday with past proprietor & winemaker, Scott Harvey. Tours will meet at the vineyard at 10am, weather permitting. Reservations are required, as space is limited to 24 people.
TASTE – Saturday & Sunday, January 12 & 13th, 11AM - 4PM
Each winery will be offering current and library vintage tastings of their OGP/Vineyard 1869 Zinfandel, paired with small bites. The passport ticket will grant you access to all three locations, plus a 15% discount on 3 or more bottles of “OGP” Zinfandel purchases for the weekend.
