Wine is ultimately about the place and there's no place like home. Our Estate Zinfandel field holds a special place and is where the Andis story took hold. It practically spills over with juicy blackberry and boysenberry flavors and has a full but sleek backed by mild tannins
The Friedlander Block of our Estate consists of dry farmed head-trained vines planted in 1978 and situated in the rolling hills of the California Shenandoah Valley AVA in Amador County.
This block produces a wine that beautifully balances intensity and complexity, with structured tannins and brightness.
Friedlander Block is showing muscular characteristic and concentrated flavors. This red wine is a true full body Zinfandel with firm tannins, round palate, and a lingering finish.
